+# New members of the Technical Steering Committee
+
+In April, we [invited applications] for the new Typelevel Technical Steering Committee (TSC). We were delighted by the overwhelming response! Thank you to everyone who applied—it is inspiring to see so much passion and dedication in our community for growing Typelevel together.
+
+Starting in May, we began onboarding fourteen new members to the TSC, who will each [serve two-year terms][motion].

+Over the last month, [members of the TSC][tsc] have been working together to brainstorm and outline organization priorities. Key themes include improving our website and documentation, leaning into our strengths to position Typelevel for AI-driven development, and growing and promoting our ecosystem, especially to support industry adoption.
+
+The Foundation has empowered the TSC to take the leading role in driving Typelevel forward, with support and oversight from the Board of Directors as needed. We are excited to enter this new chapter with an expanded team and new capacity to take on the ambitious projects ahead.
