Note local website branch release-1.4-site at a74b663 as the reviewed final 1.4 site change. Public-key retrieval and source synchronization still block Release GO.
Record that 1.4 must use fingerprint 5DA760EAF1B4169E1715DB80322E3E0A55DB94CE, already used for the published 1.3 artifacts. Do not generate a replacement.

Ordinary pre-release update for Scriptella 1.4. Does not create the release tag, upload artifacts, or change the live website.
Includes the launcher path fix and Unix launcher executable-mode fix that the signed no-upload gate required, the finalized 1.4 wording, and release-plan notes:
