  • Refresh Cargo dependencies, lockfile, and package configuration
  • Upgrade octolib to 0.36.3 and enable its llm feature
  • Update compression, directory, parsing, and jsonschema crates
  • Refresh Tokio, macros, platform, tokenizer, and support crates
  • Add URL encoding, UUID, TOML, certificate, and related crates
  • Align PHP stub parameter names and exception property order
  • Fail clearly when the PHP extension is missing

- Replace legacy INSTRUCTIONS.md with AGENTS.md developer guidance
- Consolidate build, testing, CI, contribution, and troubleshooting guidance
- Clarify README builds, extension loading, examples, and project links
- Document provider selection, endpoints, protocols, model strings, env vars
- Rework LLM API and usage docs for options and response types
- Clarify messages, tools, structured outputs, exceptions, and limitations
- Explain tool-call preservation and provider-specific execution constraints
- Document by-reference requirements for tools and messages
- Correct endpoint and developer guide references
- Note nested arrays dropped by structured responses
- Pin cargo-php to version 0.1.18 with locked dependencies
- Use ubuntu-24.04-arm for Linux ARM64 releases
- Indent generated release notes consistently
- Pin cargo-php installation to avoid ext-php-rs linking failures
- Document the dependency regression and required locked resolution
