Build as a replacement frontend to Paragraphs?

When I saw the first demo of Gutenberg it seemed like a natural fit as an alternative UI on top of Paragraphs. Any thoughts for taking it in that direction?

@damienmckenna Well, it crossed my mind at the beginning but I see the current implementation of Drupal Gutenberg as an alternative to Paragraphs 😬.
But to make it work with Paragraphs we would need to "serialize" Gutenberg's block delimiters comments (where the block properties are stored) to paragraphs and vice-versa which can be time consuming and probably would limit the capability of using other blocks that aren't developed for Drupal.

Will be the same issue if the goal is to use Drupal custom-type-blocks or plugin-blocks?

Is it possible to use custom delimiters?

Short answer: yes :)
Actually we're working on making Drupal blocks available on Gutenberg. It already works (branch 8.x-1.x) but we still need to work on the block parameters which is really useful if using, for example, views blocks.
I guess it would be nice to have a separate module that could handle Paragraphs... 🤔
