What & why

Was: FormbricksSDK 2.1.0, released 2026-08-06. Now: 2.2.0, so a release can be cut with what has landed on main since.

Minor, not patch: setEmbeddedData() / clearEmbeddedData() are new public API and nothing existing changes shape. Podspec and the README install snippet are the only two places the version lives.

Release

GitHub release 2.2.0 from main after merge → publish-pod.yml pushes the podspec to CocoaPods Trunk. The Embedded Data bag rides the existing hiddenFieldsRecord into the server-served survey runtime, so typed fields, defaults and locking need a 6.0 server; older servers treat the values as plain hidden fields.
