Not able to use within Incognito Mode

I enabled the extension to work in incognito mode via this setting

But when I access a website with an HTTP-AUTH it seems to be blocked by Chrome?

I have no idea what is blocking you here, but I don't think its an issue with the extension.

I am unable to reproduce the error. I enabled Incognito, opened an Incognito tab, and the addon worked as expected.

That's so strange,

I only have 2 extensions enabled for incognito mode

I thought maybe I needed to have "Developer Mode" enabled but after enabling, didn't seem to make a difference

This time I decided to use the URL you used in your screenshot, still no dice

Ok, I was able to reproduce this by starting fresh. I have no idea what is causing this, but I will look into it and let you know what I find.

At a glance, it looks like this may be a limitation of both Incognito mode in Chrome and Private Browsing in Firefox.

This extension gets triggered when the browser receives an auth request, and hijacks the session, which is apparently not working in incognito mode.

However, the actual injecting of the credentials does succeed sine I don't have to hijack the request, I can just provide the credentials. This means that if you already have the credentials saved, it will work.

I will do some more digging around; however, I don't expect I will be able to overcome this limitation. I will update the documentation to cover this.

TLDR: To work around this issue, you need to add the credentials before going into incognito mode.

If you want to manually add the credentials, while I don't quite have good add dialog in the UI, you can use the Import from Text option and just add these credentials then edit the entry.

What's odd is that I can confirm, adding the credentials beforehand works, but only for that httpbin example.
On the website I'm trying to actually use it on, it doesn't work.
