This page is for hosting tips & tricks for using the tablet controller included with Spot (Conq).

Process For Finishing With The Tablet

When you're finished using the tablet controller, follow this process:

Plug the tablet into the USB-C charger so it's fully charged for the next use.
Ensure that you blank/sleep the screen by pressing the middle button on the top left of the tablet.
- At the top left of the tablet, from left to right, there's a longer button and two short buttons. Press the leftmost short button to lock the screen.

We've submitted a Support Center ticket to ensure this isn't a problem with the tablet. Dylan will update this page based on their feedback.

Additionally:

Ensure that you follow the process for finishing with the tablet when you're done using it.
Check that the power strip/outlet you plug the tablet into doesn't have a high power draw.
- If you plug the tablet into a circuit that is powering multiple computers, it's possible the outlet isn't supplying as much current to the tablet.
- We typically plug the tablet into the power strip on the table that is against the glass wall at the back of the lab.
