Merged
Conversation
The get-started paragraph read as ChatGPT.com never using OpenAdapt. The command below is local stdio. Hosted chats stay on the job tab. Signed-off-by: abrichr <richard.abrich@mldsai.com>

The Local coding agents paragraph on get-started said ChatGPT.com can't talk to OpenAdapt. That overstates it.
claude mcp addis a local stdio command. Claude Code and Cursor on this machine can use it. ChatGPT.com can't talk to localhost, so it can't use this command. For a hosted chat, stay on the job tab and put OpenAdapt on this computer. Don't send that chat your passwords.I did not document
https://openadapt.ai/mcpor openadapt-web#464. GET/mcpis 404 HTML today, and that PR isn't on main. What to check: the rest of get-started is unchanged, and the required validator strings are still on the page.
