This fixes the path handling in the Figure 2 reproduction script so it can find the local
src/directory when run directly from a fresh repository checkout.The script still saves all generated figures under
paper/figures/. I also moved the Matplotlib cache setup before the Matplotlib import so the configured cache directory is applied correctly.Checked
