With respect to the thoughtful feedback received from the TRON community regarding the OTAK-NES architecture, and taking into consideration TRON's gradual migration toward post-quantum signatures, after extensive technical discussions and careful review, we have concluded that the OTAK-NES architecture requires further refinement and maturity.
At the same time, we believe that the long-term exposure of authorization key signatures remains an important security concern worthy of continued research. Based on available technical evidence and experiences from the blockchain ecosystem, issues such as Nonce reuse, Replay attacks, and Malleability deserve ongoing attention.
For this reason, and given that TRON is a dynamic network that is constantly being updated and evolving, we have decided to continue developing OTAK-NES as an independent blockchain security architecture within this Issue. Our goal is to keep the design evolving, incorporate new technical insights, and ensure that it remains aligned with future developments in blockchain security.
Therefore, the final version of the OTAK-NES architecture will be updated in this Issue and will remain available as a technical reference. We continue to welcome constructive feedback, suggestions, and technical reviews from the community, and we hope that through open dialogue, this architecture will reach the level of maturity required for eventual deployment.
If this maturity is achieved in the future, we would be happy to challenge the proposal again and submit a new Pull Request.
