Is there a way to directly send a request to the Github API?

I need to use the PATCH /user/repository_invitations/:invitation_id endpoint ASAP. My question is if there is a way to directly send a message like that without modifying the github_api gem? If not, where should I get started with the pull request? I quickly looked around in the source code, but I felt a bit lost.

Hey, the client folder matches exactly the structure of actual github api which seems you know how to find. Please see if this method exists, if it doesn't then I would welcome PR implementing it. Regarding your ASAP, i'm currently enjoying holidays with my family and I don't have time to implement anything immediately. If you need it quick then you will need to put some work in and I will review/merge.
