Can this be used in Task node?

Hi there,
I wanted to use this library in my project but found that my url is to big and while rendering it takes almost 10 second or sometime i get timeout error. So it will be great if you help me in integrating this library in task node so that at the app start i can store the image somewhere and than use it later without blocking render thread.
Pointing to some example will be great!

We are using this library in our application, it is taking time to load the QR code. It takes about 8-10 seconds. How can we reduce this time ?

Ankitadotstudiopro The longer the URL, the longer it will take to render. Best solution would be to mask the URL under a notably shorter one, from a URL shortener service like Bitly.

If that can't be done for whatever reason (such as if you need the original URL visible on the code), your next best bet is to avoid dynamically generating the code entirely, since an image loads instantaneously on Roku. If you have a static URL that won't change, use a pre-generated image file from a QR code generator online, and only resort to generating one dynamically as a fallback if the URL does change for whatever reason.

Still, it would be great if we could get this task node approach supported, so that we can have a native workaround for the use of long URLs in most cases. Kevin Hoos (@yungblood) Any update on this?

Jeffrey Nichtberger (@Koolstr) Ankitadotstudiopro Since it was taking too much time at FE to generate QR code and render thread was getting blocked, I choose to go with deploying a QR generation service in my BE(very light java code) which is generating QR in a blink and calling that service by passing the url from FE and then rendering the response which is of type image.

Even if we achieve this to have this in Task thread at FE i don’t think rendering something like QR code using Draw2D function is a nice approach.
