App out of sync with extensions

Describe the bug

Yeop, what fun. Came across Modly. Downloaded AppImage, tried to add extention. Got errors because the extension uses later version of python than app.

Steps to reproduce

1. Download Modly v0.4.1 AppImage
2. Attempt to install extension https://github.com/DrHepa/modly-cube3d-extension
3. errors related to python version (can't cut and paste the errors since no one thought that would be a use case in the app).
