Total count logic problem in Stats.js

We have a demo project to show the people-count capability to customer, every setup is fine.
But when we use the video to verify the people count logic, we find: every time when we refresh browser, the total count is reset to 0. Which is not we want, we think the total count should be continued with prior value.
