Game UI disappears after using instant actions menu

When I press the left stick to open the instant actions configuration menu and then close the menu again, the game UI completely disappears and does not come back.

Here is the SMAPI log with all debug logs of Star Control enabled, as well as a video showing the behavior:

The problem is this line:

StardewControllers/StarControl/ModEntry.cs

Line 476 in 8dec64f

Game1.activeClickableMenu = controller!.Menu;

it simply needs to be removed, then everything is fine.
