why the style of some components (switch for example) is different from what is shown in documents?
if it's related to the next version when is its release date?

Yes. The docs are currently showing work from the v6 line, while the latest stable release is still v5.15.3. The only v6 release published so far is 6.0.0-alpha.0, so installing the default react-native-paper version can give you v5 components that do not match the current/main documentation.

Switch is one of the components intentionally changed in v6. The alpha release notes list “modernize Switch to MD3” and also note that its props no longer extend the native React Native Switch; color customization moves to the Paper theme.

For a production app, use the documentation matching your installed major version. If you are testing v6, pin the exact alpha version because its API and visuals can still change before stable.
