Over several XL pizzas shared among everyone, we enjoyed good food and warm conversations while catching up with one another. - -![](/images/posts/2026-06-23-farewell-lunch-and-card-crafting-session/farewell-lunch.jpeg) - -After our delicious lunch, we gathered in the seminar room for a card-crafting session. The lab split into four groups to create farewell cards for the four members who were leaving the lab. Rather than making ordinary farewell cards, we had the opportunity to create aesthetic “exploding box” cards. Everyone took part by pasting Polaroid photos from lab events over the years, decorating the boxes with cut-out art stickers, and writing heartfelt farewell messages. It was a pleasant workshop and a great opportunity for everyone to work together and reminisce about the memories we had shared. - - - -Thank you to Sarah for organising the farewell lunch, and to Amanda and Kar Mun for hosting the card-crafting session. - -We wish Ming Hao, Rafael, Cherry, and Clarice all the best in their next journey as they leave GIS! - -![](/images/posts/2026-06-23-farewell-lunch-and-card-crafting-session/card-crafting-1.jpeg) From 8715305775e095ab3df1dfdfc0893cf6803072b1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ryan Jaya Date: Mon, 14 Sep 2026 19:01:34 +0800 Subject: [PATCH 2/2] Update cycling post images and descriptions --- _posts/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP.markdown | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/_posts/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP.markdown b/_posts/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP.markdown index 8500017..b6f103a 100644 --- a/_posts/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP.markdown +++ b/_posts/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP.markdown @@ -2,7 +2,7 @@ layout: post title: Cycling at East Coast Park description: Lab outing spent at East Coast Park cycling and enjoying the views -image: '/images/activities/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP/ecp-cycling-4.jpeg' +image: '/images/activities/2026-08-14-cycling-at-ECP/ecp-cycling-1.jpeg' date: 2026-08-14 author: ryan-jaya featured: false @@ -11,7 +11,7 @@ group_activity: true The lab recently headed to East Coast Park for a cycling outing along the coast.
